CERTIFIED ORGANIC!

The mountains of the Yukon are echoing some good news these days: Alpine Bakery is now officially Certified Organic! The only Bakery North of 60 in Canada with this recognition.

What Does That Mean?

You will see the new labels on our products that guarantee a recognized national standard - everything produced at Alpine Bakery is made of 100% organic ingredients. You can trust the label.  The process to be able to use it represents many steps and over a year's work to establish, to check and to monitor closely all aspects of Alpine Bakery production.

We have been organic for a long time - the difference now is the formal status under PACS (Pacific Agricultural Certification Society) which allows us to display the label assuring you that we produce the highest level of organic food possible.

Beyond the national standards imposed by PACS, we support the local organic growers and strive for the closest source of organic ingredients, staying away from the exotic, faraway sources in our effort to work for the best health for Yukoners and for the planet.
